Keep in mind this comes from AC Another Age and not Silent Line. You can still test this out on Silent Line, but the parts were not available at the time it was built. Anyway, this is the one you was looking for Mechadon, enjoy.

It's actually a AC3 design. I can't remember how far Hard Core made it into SL (not very far though), but I'm fairly certain most of the final Hard Core's that were published were for AC3. I'm looking at the article right now, but I can't find my damned digital camera for the life of me -_-*

Anyways, here's the description that Pat (I believe) wrote:

"Brett's Infernum is a mid-weight Core designed to inflict maximum heat damage on its opponents. The bazooka and flamethrower do a great job of it, too -- a few solid hits from either of these weapons will have your opponent watching his AP drain away from the excessive heat. Break out the dual missiles at range to keep opponents at bay. None of Infernum's weapons use energy as ammo, so it can boost around a lot, making up for its slow speed. If you like to keep the heat on your enemies, Infernum is a good Core for you. Give it a test run!"

Heh, a little cheesy I'll admit, but still very cool. The core itself, if I remember correctly, is actually not all that great. Most of the problems lie with the frame which is drainy and not very efficient at all. I think it had mobility similar to a heavy-mid, but it wasn't quite fast enough for the type of armament and fighting style it was designed for. If I were to redesign it again, I'd probably either go with a LW base (hover would probably be pretty efficient to use with a flamer) or maybe try out a RE/3003 hover tank type with some 'nades and a multi-missile pack.

An interesting note on the Hard Core issue #99 that I found was that the first design featured (Lion Heart) was made by Brett Smith. I thought it was pretty awesome that he had the same name as myself

*edit*

Ok, apparently Hard Core never made it to Silent Line...well not technically anyways. Issue #102 was the last Hard Core article that was written and it featured a glimpse at some of the new parts that were going to be in Silent Line.

Also, I found my camera! Hopefully it still works.

*edit*

Kay...uh, well now I need to hunt for my card reader X_X
