I e-grew up on GameHits. First message board i came to (Thanks to tips and tricks, and pat's Armored Core section). I remember when i first signed up. I was 13. Long-ass time ago, considering that i turned 17 on the ninth. I remember when I first got Silent Line, when I (semi)-perfected my tank, the fatass Liberty and all of its Flaming Bullets. I remember Vega and his shenanigans, and the "invasion" from the GameFAQs elitist trolls and flamers. I remember when I got sick of these games, and played something else. I remember Mechadon, Aldur, and all the other regulars here (quite a few to name). Brings back a bunch of awesome memories. Unfortunately, these boards have decayed, and the amount of posts are infrequent and the userbase has shrunk to almost nothing. It makes me sad to see the inactivity of GameHits after watching 50 or so posts a day. Now there is more like 1 post every month. I love this board, and I think i speak for all the regulars of Armored Corner when i say that this board might not be the most active, or have the mewest code, but it gave us a place to casually nerd out about our customizable mechs and just have a great time. I will come here every so often, but in spirit i am here forever.

I know, it's really sad  . I think about all the fun I had at this place and there really hasn't been another place that has equaled it. I do check in still, mostly out of bordem or with the hope that someone posts something fun to read. Alas, its very rare that this happens Well anyways, I do remember you! Yeah, even after I migrated to GameFAQs and 4chan, this place is still number one. I remember everyone. You, Tear, Laser, RED, Virulent, Aldur, vega (unfortunately). I had such great times here. I started posting here 4 years ago. Time moves to goddamn fast to actually sit down and enjoy it all, but I am glad I enjoyed being here at GameHits. Even though I was far, far, FAR more noobish than I am now. >__>------------------

Hey I'm finally remembered on a "Vets" list, go figure ^_^It's been...nearly 5 years now I think, since I got my start here. This board has gone to hell in a handbasket...still, I'll stick around, poking and prodding till the ol' girl wakes up again, if not for AC purposes, than as simply a communications line for those who got their start here, such as Tanker and myself.

Hey there, Mech! ^_^ I showed my friend A.G.E. I had to get a dustpan to get his jaw off the floor... Problem was, he challenged me in the arena against me in NightHawk X, so sorry to say he was in ashes before he was halfway across the arena... BUT I used A.G.E. agaisnt him using a core of his own design, and I gotta say he worked well in reducing an AC into a heap of slag. ^_^ Just thought I'd let ya know ------------------

who doesnt remember all the old stuff? i recently went back and looked at all my posts from back then and WOW! im surprised i diddnt get a permaban after like 3 days yea i was a n00b back then, but alot of us were i was just one of the more.....n00bish(if thats a word) ones and yea i think this was there first forum for alota people (including me) but i still play AC from time to time its just that i dont really like nexus or anything after but i havent gotten a PS3 of AC4 yet but yea it would but killer to some how get this board active againIP: Logged |

Yay Brians still alive too! As far as I'm concerned, Vega, NX and above is all fine and dandy but when this place was going nuts it was during SL so it's at SL that I'll stay still designing to my hearts content. ------------------

Eh? What's this? Talking dust bunnies? Oh, its actual posts! It is a sad time indeed; I was never a very active member as far as posts, but I was reading nearly every topic...now there's hardly a constant stream of check ins. Well, can't complain I guess: I posted a few ACs, got some good adivce...some bad...learned to trust my own judgement a bit more as a result. Had a good time while it lasted and have fond memories of the whole mess...heck, who knows, maybe when AC4 and the NextGen systems become a bit more affordable GHF may just make a comeback due to Online mode. Sharing linx names, designs, and building guilds once again. We can always hope right?I'll haunt these boards a while longer...not like I frequent anywhere else. May even post a heavy AC named Surrendependence... --Take Care All-- ------------------

Enough time has passed that NOVA has fallen apart and re-united twice I belive. I was here to see it all. Eventhough my "on base" existance didn't allow me to keep in contact, I still read almost every post here. That is alot of reading. ------------------

I'm 30 years old now with a child (born 3-13-08) and even I still come back to see whats up.
Things change, even the game itself. Over all I think I got better advice here at Armored Corner.
lol, what if Tips & Tricks still had Hard Core with AC4? One AC would take a page. Hmm...
