While back in the day people would cry about true dual cannon styled AC I have always said: "You can only use one weapon at a time." which makes any AC not only beatable, but, only as good as the pilot/player. Therefore, I have never minded these types of ACs personally. As far as fire power goes this AC is right down my ally. Overbearing and imposing with high-caliber weapons that can be used near and far from your opponents. This AC is good as is. You have addressed the lower DEF of the REX with the side shields, (The up side of the arms would be: The difficulty to argue with the raw damage the MOONLIGHT can dish out with them.) and lower dash speeds (compared to a light weight) with the ICICLE; to deal with GNL rounds or any other high heat ordinance that she may encounter. She is set-up more for a distance game with the FCS, so the OB would be used to make distance. I tend to go for more speed, and a close quarter lay-out so I would make use of the OB in a more aggressive way to use this AC's prize Weapon the MOONLIGHT. To this end I exchanged two parts to suit my style of play: The boosters (to the GULL) and the FCS. (To the WS-1) These boosters add that touch of speed so you can use that blade on every thing from Lights to Heavies. Also with this FCS, you loose some of the distance that you can reach with your locks, however the sites are bigger, allowing you to track with those back weapon a lot better; and since the "insta-hit zone" is within just within the WS-1's range there is no need to waist shots. I enjoyed playing with your AC. I hope you have fun toying around with the short range set-up as well. ------------------ If thou know not how to use the Moonlight, thou know not the meaning of the title Raven. If thou know not the meaning of the title Raven, a Rebel, thou shall never be. Hail Moonlight, Hail victory.

I remember how these kinda of ACs ran rampant back in the day, and normally I wouldn't really care for it. But since this is a CPR attempt...and I truthfully can't remember diddly squat about half of the stats on those parts, I'll just be happy that SOMEONE is brave enough to dust off their copy of SL and post something here.Anyways, I'll say this: I love the YIV. I love the MOONLIGHT. This is definitely a good OP-I runner IP: Logged |

Good and solid, I can see what Red (He's still ALIVE!? *runs*) is saying, this core plays a good distance game. Though I must say it is a bit slow with the 002 boosters, but I suppose thats what OB is for. Just make sure you don't go up agaisnt a really mobile AC or they'll stay in your face and run circles around you.

I got bored of all my other games, so i thought, "Why not go beat AC3/SL again?".Even tho I didn't mean to, I finished both games with a tank. Again. -_- ------------------ "Light Fuse, Run Away" You might have seen me as: sh4d0wkn1gh7, Tanker Guy IP: Logged |

I have to go with Red on the Booster. For some reason this just feels better going faster to me. As far as weapons layout there is plenty of flexability. That means quite a bit from me because to be honest that is an unusual weapons group for me to use. Anyway, take it easy. ---Grey IP: Logged |

I am not good with many of the weapons from what you have here so it should mean something when I say that your core is very flexable. I am with Red on your boost speed, but I have always liked your FCS. My reasoning is because I like to choose my range instead of letting my opponent do so. It might also help that I have practiced jousting for many hours with grenades and PLS so my opinion may be biased. This is also my first AC board bud. Lets hope it never fades away. ----------------Grey
