Hm, well lets see. Whats MT stand for? Whats the original name of an AC? (its not an armored core) What was the original intention of the inside part slot?See, lemme just go ahead & let you know, I look stuff up all the time for absolutely no reason when I get bored. AC has been one of those things. I like to know stuff, even the most minute details of things. You can't win this. Sorry. IP: Logged |

Well you got the first 2 right, but the 3rd is wrong. Originally they planned to use the inside part space for another place to put missile units. For some unknown reason they abandoned the idea.Hm, so you know more than I thought. But that means nothing. You still didn't bother to put forth any other information you know nor did you ask me anything to prove your point either. IP: Logged |

I'm reasonably sure it is...but I'm not positive. I've never really wanted to play online so I never tested it. :/IP: Logged |

Really I can't play online. I have wireless connection to my room so I'm incapable of connecting my PS2.But aside from that, I just think that online play is whats killing AC. No offense to the online loyals, but because AC went online, TONS of people complain about parts being cheap until FROM gives in & "balances" it in the next game. To me, its fine if you think a part is cheap. Just don't play people who use it or get better so it doesn't bother you. But don't ruin it for those of us who don't even play online. IP: Logged |

True, but you better get with the times man because online will be in all games soon. Single player is a dying breed. Also, AIs make you rusty. Now for your thoughts on the balance and the people online talking about cheap parts. Its more in the Japan tournaments that bring up on cheap or broken parts. FROM dont care what we think here in the US. ------------------ Drink from the fountain of decay

For some types of games it is a dying breed, yes, but there are by far many more single player games out still than multiplayer.I usually like games for 2 reasons: Story, or deep customization. AC is obviously in the customization category, but at the same time the majority of the games I play are heavy on storylines. With MMORPGs, the story can only be so deep. Without a main character for you to play as, the story has to be generalized. I'd say single player will be around for a loooooong time, if only in RPGs & certain action & adventure games. Back ot of AC tho, I do play against humans semi-often. I got a large chunk of my friends into AC back in PP, so we play 2 player kinda often. Unfortunately, with AC's lack of change most of them aren't as loyal as I am & don't want to play it as often as I would like. But yea. I don't only play against AI. & yea. That is true about japanese players having more say then american players. But the point still remains...if it weren't for online, people wouldn't worry about it as much. Online would be fine if FROM would just stop listening & just make the games. (even if that is kinda business suicide...I'm sure they'd adjust. If you give in to every demand made, they just want more.) Maybe if they weren't busy remodeling part stats they would introduce more new parts per-game.

Are you going to play online with AC4 GPP? So many new people come to online thinking that since he or she can take down their friends that online is going to be a walk in the park. I to felt that way but didnt run my mouth about it like most do, but I ran into people that was very good and over time it changed my way of playing(all for the good). I think if you gave online a good run you too will agree with cheap or broken parts. I know how you feel about it and the OP-I ,but alot of players think the way you do the first time he or she plays and over time they agree and understand why its broke or cheap. I was one of those players. If your not going to play online you have nothing to worry about because FROM seems to have a problem keeping parts balance.
