CvS2 "Team" Tournament Wrap Up

In this team tournament each player would pick one ratio two character and after the first person in a team is eliminated they would pass off the controller to their partner.  Despite the small turn out I think this tournament was a lot of fun.  With only 9 teams we were able to make it full round robin.  The competition was fierce as the teams battled it out.  Dan and Matt were able to pick up a couple key wins early that put them in a comfortable position.  However their record would not go with out a loss.  Even though George and Jen were already eliminated from the prize money they didn't let that stop them from doing their best.  Jen started things off for their team and eliminated Matt C, and then knocked Dan down a little as well.  Then George came in and finished Dan off.  This was the only time that Dan and Matt lost.  The last mach came down to Dayne and Tony Vs. Ali and Bryce.  The winner of this would be in a tie for 1st  with Matt C and Dan.  The looser of this match would be knocked down to third.  Dayne and Tony would get the win and move on to the tie breaker where they would loose to Dan and Matt.

The battle for last place was just as exiting as the battle for first as both Dylin and Tyler would face off against Adam and David.  Neither team had a win, so this was just about pride.  Dylin and Tyler were considered the underdogs due to the age difference.  (Dylin and Tyler were about 10 Vs. Adam who is 16. I am not sure about David.)   The match came down to the very last pixel of life, but Dylin and Tyler were able to walk away with the win.

Congrats to Matt and Dan and thanks to all who made it out.  Special thanks to Lou and Enterprise mortgage.  First place prize was $100 and second was $30 because of the extra money kicked in by them.
