Twisted Metal Black Tournament Wrap Up

14 players would be divided up into four pools.  Two with four players and two with three players.  They would battle against everyone else in the pool at the same time.  The winner would advance to the semi finals.  The second place finishers would advance to the 2nd round of the prelims.  All others would go on to a last chance round.

In this pool  Matt K and Kevin tied in a one on one tie breaker Matt would move on the the Quarter finals.

Jaroz, and Cord  ended up leaving before the the last chance rounds, so this left 4 people.  Two would advance to the prelim 2nd round.

In this round the last place finishers would be out the other two would advance to the Semi Finals.

In this the top finisher would advance to the finals the 2nd and 3rd would go to the second round of the Semi Finals.

In the finals there would be 4 matches.  Then points would be issued. 1 for 1st 2 for 2nd etc.  Then the one with the lowest score would be the winner.  Here are the results of the finals.    As you can see King III ran away with this one.  But there was a close battle for 2nd.  

Thanks to all who came out for this one, and congrats to King III one the win.  King III is the very first successful  defending champion.  He was the winner of the last (singles) Twisted Metal Black tournament.
