Super Smash Brothers Melee Tournament Wrap Up

This Tournament had a surprising 30 people turn out for it.  I was shocked.  Most of the regular crew that you see in these tournament write ups, and a lot of new faces.   Because of the amount of people I will only be doing a write up for the finals.  All the matches up the finals were standard 5 minute melee matches.  In the end there were four.   Each participant in the finals would pick any style of match of there choice.   Then first place would get 1 point second would get 2 points and so on.   In then end the person with the lowest score would be the winner.    In a case of a tie the people with the tie would split the amount of points earned.  This only happened in the first round.  Thomas was the winner but all the rest tied for second.  In this situation the 9 points (2+3+4)  were divided between the three of them.  

After the first two rounds Chris and Thomas were tied with 4 points each.  Josh was in last with 7 points.  Then came Ernesto's pick.   Josh managed to get first and Ernesto got second.  This put Ernesto in a tie for first with Thomas.  with 7 points and Josh and Chris were now in a tie right behind them with 8 points.   Then came the last match.  This was still anybody's match.  Who ever won this would either be the winner out right or at least be tied for first.    As it turned out Josh would be the winner of the round and that would now put him in a tie with Ernesto who got second.   

For the tie breaker it was standard 5 minute match one on one.  Josh ran away with the win in the tie breaker.
