Super Monkey Ball Olympics Wrap Up

 

This is a game that I honestly didn't think we would have enough people to run a tournament, but I liked it enough to try it anyway.  As it turned out we actually had 12 people!  So this is how it was ran.  There would be competitions in the party games (Monkey Race, Monkey Fight, and Monkey Target).  The winner of each mini tournament would get 5 points.  Second place would get 3 points, third would get 2 and fourth would get 1 point.  At the end of all three games the one with the most points would be the winner.  

Monkey Fight

In this there would be three pools of 4 players.  They would play to 4 wins, and the winner would advance to the finals.  The second place would go to a three way battle for the last spot in the finals.   Here are the results.

This was surprising because Bill said this was his first time playing he swepped the match in four strait wins.

This was a lot closer than the first pool.  Every one had at least one win.

I must have been eating pizza because I didn't have the score down for this one. But I do know that Dan must have had four wins.

This was interesting because Bobby, who got beat by Nate in the prelim pool, made it back from the semi final pool and then won the finals.  

Monkey Race

Same format as the Monkey Fight except it would be 7 laps on the medium level track.

Congrats to Nate on winning our first Monkey Ball Olympics, and thanks to all who came out.  Maybe next time I will participate.
