WWF No Mercy Tournament Wrap Up

Ironically the real No Mercy pay-per-view was held the very next day.   The was a single elimination tournament.  This was also by far the largest No Mercy turn out we have ever had twenty five people showed up.   Lets dive right in. 

Bracket 1

The fastest match of the night was in the half of the tournament it was between Dan and Jovan.  This lasted all of 1:19!!  

Bracket 2

The longest match of the night was in this half of the tournament.  It was between David and Jimmy, and lasted 10:02.  

Finals

Brian Vs. Epiy

This was a fun match to watch.  Epiy used The Rock to take on Brian's Steven Richards.  Epiy came out and gained the early momentum and was in control of the match.  He used the arm bar over and over on Brian until his arm was hurt.  One more arm bar and it would have be all over.  Then Brian was able to mount a comeback and was able to use his special THREE times!!  I thought it was over, but Epiy kicked out.  The match continued on and was very close Epiy applied the arm bar again, but Brian was too close to the ropes.  Then Brian was able to get his special meter going again.  As he went for the grapple Epiy blocked it an then got out of the ring, and stalled until the special went away.  At the end Epiy was able to get Brian down again, and this time he dragged him to the middle of the ring before putting the arm bar on him.  This would be the end of the match as Steven Richards would tap out, and Epiy would be the winner.    The match lasted 6:00.

Congrats to Epiy and thanks to all who came out to make this the best No Mercy Tournament of them all.
