Project Justsice Tournament Wrap Up

Capcom Pentathlon Game 3

The format for this tournament was as follows;  4 pools of players play everyone else in there pool.  The best two winning records advance to the finals.   The winner would be determined by another round robin in the final pool.  Here are the results;

Pool 1

Carl and Russ really wanted a piece of each other.  After they each obtained 3 wins it wasn't necessary to have them go at it in this pool.  They would have to wait until the finals.

Pool 2

This one came down to Ronnie and Andrew to set the stage for a possible tie breaker.  However Andrew (who had never played this game before)  made sure it didn't get that far.

Pool 3

In this pool the match that drew my attention the most was between Jeannie (only the second female in our tournaments) and  Ron.  This bout was a nail bitter all the way down to the last hit.  It was Ron however who waked away with the win.

Pool 4

Not much of note worthiness in this pool.  Bryce and Kevin L would have to wait until the finals to try each other though.  I guess it was neat to have Kevin Vs. Kevin though.

Final Pool 

In the final match it was Chris and Greg.  Both used Hideo, and it came down to the last match.  Chris was able to gain the win.  Andrew was able to tie for third with Bryce.  Again this was quite a feat since it was the first time he had played the game. (At least that's what he told us.)
