WWF No Mercy Tournament Wrap up

How fitting that on the weekend of Wrestlemania 17 there would be a WWF tournament.   Though the excitement wasn't the same it was still fun.  Now with most tournaments games don't take that long, and it is possible to have either a round robin or even a standard elimination bracket style tournament.  However is No Mercy matches can easily take up to 20 minutes and usually more.   With 10 people that would have been 9 matches and easily 3 hours.  So as the commissioner of the Game Hits No Mercy League I decided that two triple threat matches and one 4 way triple threat matches would decide the three finalists for a final round triple threat match.

The 4 way match was very fast.  While Carl and Taiyon were locked up in a submission hold Jacob was able to pin Jimmy for the win.  In the finals Jerry was able to pin Jacob for the win.   After the tournament there were several other matches that took place for fun.  Dayne was able to beat Jerry in a singles match.  Myself and Dayne took on Thomas and Jerry in several tag matches that we were both able to gain wins.  

For now though Jerry is the NML champion.  Next week if he is around he will have to defend his title.  As for my self since I didn't participate in the tournament I have to start at the bottom.  Official No Mercy League rules and standings will become available soon.   e-mail us at NoMercyLeague@gmhints.com for more info.
