Capcom Vs. SNK Tournament wrap up

Thanks to all who came and helped make this the biggest tournament turn out yet!  For those who weren't there or for those who just want a recap here it is.

This was a double elimination tournament the top bracket is the first round.  If you loose (witch everyone but one does) you then go to the bottom bracket.  The winner of the second elimination bracket goes against the winner of the first bracket.  The winner of that is then the champion.   Here is how it went down.

The last match of the second round put Mike B (the second place finisher the last time we held this tournament) against Ali the winner of our Tekken Tag tournament last week.  As you can see Ali won.  At least Mike can take some comfort that Ali did make it to the finals.

The second bracket featured even more interesting match ups as friends fought friends.  Russ and James was a heated first round match that came down to the last hit.  And Carl and Matt K in the second round.   Ali had a by in the first round since he got to the finals in the first bracket.  He then had to face Mike for a second time.  Ali won again and Mike was unable to avenge himself. James and Heath who went at it in the first series had a rematch in the final.  This time James was the winner. 

So the final came down to James and Bryce.  This was a great bout! They both eliminated each others first characters at about the same time.  It was looking to be a very close match.  In the end though is was Bryce who won.  Blanca was in my opinion the MVC most valuable character.  Congrats to Bryce!  Way to go.
