Pat & Adrian’s Greatest Game Hits

For our first study, we chose a Super Nintendo Entertainment System cartridge: NFL Quarterback Club or some such nonsense. Adrian first consulted the Magic 8-Ball for it’s advice on the matter at hand. "Oh great and wise Magic 8-Ball," he said, "Is it your wish that I beat this cartridge with a hammer until it is nothing more than silicon crumbs?" <shake shake shake> "Yes, definitely."

Of course, for the purposes of our official, intensely scrupulous research, Adrian made sure to hit each cartridge exactly one time and with the exact same amount of force, to ensure proper comparative results. As it turns out, those SNES carts are quite sturdy. Not as tough as the N64 cartridges, which you’ll see in our next installment, but fairly tough indeed. In fact, this game may actually still work, but my strict policy of letting no sports game touch my systems forbids me from testing this theory.
